Debaria is a small village located to the south-west of Gilead in the Barony of New Canaan. It has a population of around 8000 people. Located here is Our Lady Of The Rose where Gabrielle Deschain goes to try and repent for her sins.
During Roland's youth, Debaria was terrorized by a skin-man, a human with the ability to shapeshift into creatures and monsters. Roland and his ka mate Jamie De Curry are sent here by his father to find more information about the Skin Man and end its reign of terror. The town's sheriff and deputy's help Roland in their mission.
