Pricetown's Stablekeeper owns all the horses in Pricetown, all of which are Mutant Horses. He is a very greedy man, and when Roland opts to buy his only mule, the Stablekeeper overprices it. Also, when Roland asks for information on the Man in Black, the Stablekeeper wants money for that as well, but he does tell Roland after he pays, and directs him to Tull.
