Hanging Rock was the place used by the Big Coffin Hunters to hide the oil barrels from Citgo. They were hidden behind the bluffs there.
Roland Deschain, Cuthbert Allgood and Alain Johns discover them and destroy the barrels during the final battle when they draw George Latigo and his men into the Thinny at Eyebolt Canyon.
